So this might be old news, but I just found out about it. Apparently they're re-releasing Cowboy Bebop on DVD? I can't seem to find any news about it, only places to buy it from, but apparently they're calling the new DVD Set
Cowboy Bebop Remix. It's going to have a remastered and remixed 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound soundtrack (which doesn't mean much to me, because my speakers are shitty), and
newly animated scenes. What I can't quite figure out is whether or not these are totally new scenes, or if they're just re-animating some of the original stuff to make it look better.
Either way, I'm both excited and nervous about this. Cowboy Bebop is pretty damn perfect the way it is, so I hope they don't screw anything up. If they could really make it
better somehow, that would be awesome though (although I never once thought, while watching CB, that it could stand to be better).
The best thing about this for me, though, is that it finally gives me a) an excuse to buy CB on DVD and b) a reason to be happy I haven't already done so.

So at any rate, has anyone heard anything else about this?
