Hi, it's bee a while!  Nothing significant is happening on the site.    The affiliate links have been removed, and links have been added to translations on the appropriate profiles (Shitan and Ramsus in particular) just in case someone still visits the site for information instead of nostalgia.

The text should be rewritten, but I have no motivation to do that.  We're lucky when people bribe Xenogears fic out of me, honestly, and that's like pulling teeth.

There may be a real update soon if Rey finishes her Invasion of Shevat fic, and if I can be bothered to convert the essay in my inbox.  We'll see.

Not sure if you saw the FF XIII demo, but it looks like they pretty much reused the Xenogears battle system for it, which is pretty funny.

Actually, what's really sorta crazy is that I'm actually sorta involved in a Square Enix game now.  I'm like 10 years too late to be interviewed about it by rabid fans though.

Anyway - no, I haven't seen the FFXIII demo, and probably should just for kicks.  The hype hasn't really hit me because I've been wrapped up in Fire Emblem for the last year or so.

Heh, not an RPG, but a pretty story-heavy game called Supreme Commander 2, being published by Squeenix.  I'm not directly on the project, but there's going to be plenty of my code shipping with it at the end of the day, so who knows how the credits will read.

That's still really cool.  You're contributing to a real game project, instead of just dreaming about it.  Funny, but I know the title, and had no idea who was publishing it.  I've been pretty out of the loop the last few years, though.

I hope your name appears on the credits.

1) Approximately how many belts will there be?
2) Same question, zippers instead of belts.
3) What kind of weather is the main character named after?  I've always liked sunshowers.  Can he be named after sunshowers?  Like, Sohn Showa.
4) If not, can you pass on to Square my idea for a main character named Sohn Showa?
5) I think they would really like it.  He would use a sword that is also a tank.  I have drawings, if they want to see.
6) I also have a lot of game ideas.  Like, Cowboy Bebop: The Video Game.  Tell them to call me.

Seriously, though, that is kind of neat that you are in some way affiliated with Square.   Does your company deal with Square's American or Japanese branch?  Or... both?  I'm always kind of curious what people at Square's US company actually do, apart from translate and make awful SNES games.

While it's not Sup Com, I'm prolly gonna be buying Demigod in a week or two.  I like Dota and Demigod just seems like a better game.  Supposedly it's been having some multiplayer problems though.

I'd get it anyway, multiplayer is an issue Stardock is actively fixing.

Demigod is DOTA-esque, but not DOTA at all.  It's less hardcore, but more accessible.  It's a pretty damn cool game
